Marketing Photographer + Digital Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, passionate individual to assist in daily marketing at Phase Three Brewing Company. 

The goal of this position is to create striking content for our social media channels to promote our food, beer and P3 experience with an elevated eye.

As our primary photographer, we expect you to be able to work on demanding deadlines, have an eye for composing and editing striking photographs of food, beer, and people while being able to express our company’s views creatively. In addition to photography, we are looking for someone who has experience in social media marketing, creating graphics, reels, and contributing ideas for overall marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Photography  – the ideal candidate will have an eye for elevated photography

• Ability to work according to the overall established brand and photography standards of Phase Three

• Ability to work within tight and long-term deadlines

• Must be able to take photos of food, beer and people with an eye for different and interesting compositions

• Must be able to edit photos to submit final, polished photos to be used on a variety of platforms such as social media, posters, printed materials, etc.

• Creative Digital Design – help create social media content (still and motion graphics), marketing collateral

• Understands marketing goals, audience, and delivers consistent messaging

• Collaborates on marketing campaigns ensuring consistency in brand voice and aesthetic

• Social Media

• Create content and engage with audience

• Must understand all social channels and audience

• Supports Marketing Manager with misc. duties as needed

SKILLS:

• Proven work experience as a photographer

• Hands-on experience in photo editing and composing photos utilizing proper lighting and techniques

• Ability to deliver polished, finalized content

• Excellent communication skills

• Analytical and multitasking skills

• Knowledge of online marketing channels

• Knowledge of Sony A7iii camera

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must provide Digital Portfolio to marketing director before interview

• Highly proficient in digital design and Adobe Creative Suite programs

• Ability to present and communicate ideas effectively with marketing manager

• Project management and organizational experience

• Proficient in Gsuite applications (Google docs, sheets, gmail)

• Well-versed in social media marketing

BONUS SKILLS BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Label design (Adobe Illustrator knowledge)

• Canva app knowledge 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Professional photography experience (3 Years)

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Digital Design concentration and/or Marketing

POSITION

This is a hybrid position that includes on-site hours at our Elmhurst and Lake Zurich locations as well as remote work.  We are also looking for someone who would also be willing to attend local fests and events for social media coverage.
