Assistant Restaurant Manager - Elmhurst Taproom + Kitchen
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager at our Elmhurst Taproom + Kitchen location. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Our Assistant Manager will work alongside our General Manager to ensure the highest customer service. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the general manager in daily operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Supervise and train staff, including servers and kitchen crew, to uphold service standards and provide excellent customer service.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to ensure adequate supplies are available.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, aiming for prompt resolution and enhanced satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assist with scheduling staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
Collaborate in menu planning and development, staying aware of industry trends and customer preferences.
Support marketing initiatives and promotions to increase restaurant visibility and sales.
Assist in budget management and cost control measures to achieve financial targets.oversee day-to-day restaurant operations in conjunction with the general manager
Compensation
Our financial compensation for this role $50,000 to $55,000 annually plus potential bonuses.
Additionally, we offer a great BCBS PPO for full health, dental, vision at which we cover 80% for salaried employees and 60% for dependents. This position is also eligible for cell phone, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and sick pay.
